FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The 5th Annual Miracle on 97th St., Presented by IBEV, raises $6,000 to support bipolar disorder services in the Okanagan
Kelowna, BC — November 18, 2024
The Dakota Foundation for Bipolar Awareness is pleased to announce the success of the 5th Annual Miracle on 97th St., presented by IBEV. This inspiring event, held on November 10th, 2024, brought together the local community, sponsors, musicians and advocates to raise $6,000 in support of those living with bipolar disorder in the Okanagan.
The funds raised from this year’s event will directly support the Healthy Essentials Clinic in Lake Country, which currently has a waitlist of 12 families in urgent need of our help. The Dakota Foundation is proud to contribute to alleviating this critical need through initiatives like Miracle on 97th St.
“All proceeds from this event will go toward ensuring families receive the support they desperately need and help provide counseling services, information, and tools for individuals and families impacted by bipolar disorder, addressing the immediate need for mental health resources in the region.” said Dakota Foundation spokesperson, Brad Krauza. “We are honored to partner with Healthy Essentials Clinic and grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, musicians and the community for making this possible.”
The evening featured live entertainment, a silent auction, and heartfelt smiles and words of gratitude throughout the day. The event’s success was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of IBEV as presenting sponsor, alongside a dedicated team of supporters and volunteers. Thank you to our incredible talent who donated their time once again for the event. Thank you, Black Hat Wagon, Room to Dance, Layer Cake Mountain, Floyd Vedan, Cover2Cover, T>G & JByrd, Red Sun and LINUS.
